When going to a wedding, before you enter you have to take of your shoes. Weddings tend to be very large with 600-1,000 people. They should believe in only one God, and He hates no one.
Dressing, Clothing, symbols and icons:
- Women should wear a head scarf
- They never cut their hair
- Men usually wear Turbans over their hair
- They avoid low-cut tops or short skirts and dresses
Food and Drink:
Once a Sikh becomes baptized-or as they call it, Amritdhari-They are forbidden from eating Kutha, Halal. For some Sikhs Halal means that they can't eat meat without religious observation. For others Halal means any kind of meat. Alcohol and tobacco forbidden. They can not consume anything that could be harmful to their body.

Special Places
- One of Sikhs special places is the Golden Temple. The Golden Temple is the holiest Sikh gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. The golden temple was built in 1578. The city built around the Temple.
- Anandpur Sahib is the holy city of bliss and one of the Sikhism's special sacred places
- Damdama Sahib shows the memory of the early visit of Guru Gobind Singh, which is the place where he returned from Kurukshetra
- Poanta Sahib was Gobind Singh's home for four years and the place where he wrote the "Dasam Granth"
