The Gurdwara is the Sikh place of worship. The Gurdwara means the "doorway to God". Any building where the Guru Gratinranth Sahib is kept is a Sikh place of worship. Harmandir Sahib-or the golden Temple-is one of the famous places of worship. Sikh services are generally held every Sunday. Men and women usually sit seperate in the Gurdwara.
